Professional choreographers, stage artists, and dance enthusiasts aged 14 and above are invited to apply for the “Vides Dejas” Contemporary Dance Saturdays. The event is divided in three stages occurring on June 8, August 10, and September 14. Participants will partake in intensive master classes and collaborate on new productions over five days leading up to each stage, with performances premiering on the following dates:
June 2-7, with premiers on June 8
August 5-9, with premiers on August 10
September 9-13, with premiers on September 14
Vides Dejas participants program monday-friday:
10:30 – 12:30 Morning classes – dance techniques, body practices, environmental research
12:30 – 13:30 Lunch
13:30 – 15:30 creative workshops for new productions
15:30-16:00 coffee, tea break
16:00-18:00 creative workshops for new productions
Saturday is premiere day. There will be no morning classes - we will set aside time for rest. A dress rehearsal is planned for the afternoon. During the premiere period from 18:00-21:00
Organizers provide participants with free participation in classes and creative workshops. Participants must cover their own food, accommodation and transport expenses (if they are not local residents)
We provide a fee for professional dance and stage artists.
